| Sometimes hibiscus produces more buds than they can support, so the buds dry up and fall off. Another possibility is that a bud worm has gotten into the unopened bud. When this happens, the bud fails to open. Look for a hole in the outer sepals, or break one open and see if you can find evidence of the pest. |
