The Q&A Archives: Iris

Question: Hello. A friend dug out some of her iris roots from her garden and gave me some. Where should I plant them? I have sun and shade gardens. Thanks.

Answer: The bearded iris should be planted in a location with full sun all day, in rich soil, and in a spot that is very well drained. Enjoy your new iris!
