My portulace grandiflora bloome heavily, but look miserable when the blooms die off. Will they rebloom if I deadhead them? Do I cut them off at the next leaf?

Portulaca plants usually do not need deadheading, they should continue to grow and bloom continuously and conceal the old faded flowers. For best growth, these need full sun all day long, a well drained soil, an occasional deep watering during dry spells, and average soil fertility. If yours have grown leggy and sparse, you could shear them back lightly, then fertilize and water to encourage regrowth. I hope this helps.
