I bought a package of endless summer hydrangeas from one of your stores recently. I would like advise on how to best care for them, what type of pot and soil and so forth that you sell I should purchase to insure a long life for my plant. Thank you.

'Endless Summer' Hydrangea prefers a moist soil (not wet) in a place with afternoon shade and morning sun. 'Endless Summer' blooms on both old and new wood, so you can prune back the branches to encourage healthy new growth. If you're growing yours in containers, you'll need one for each plant. Fill the container with potting soil (Miracle Gro, Kellogg's or Scott's are good brands), make a well in the center and plant one of the plants in each of your containers. Water well and water as often as necessary to keep the soil moist but not soggy wet. Once the roots are established you should see lots of top growth. You can feed every 2-3 weeks during the growing season with a half-strength dilution of a liquid fertilizer (Miracle Gro, Peter's, Shultz's, etc.)

Best wishes with your new hydrangeas.
