Why are some of my leaves turning yellow. They are outside plantin in pots. Thank you. |
Without knowing more about the plants and their growing conditions, it's difficult to say exactly. Yellow leaves can be caused by many things including lack of nitrogen, insufficient light, water-logged soil (plant roots need oxygen to thrive) or overly dry soil, or iron deficiency. Transplant shock or moving to a new location can contribute to yellowing. Finally, if the plant is not perfectly suited to your climate, so it could be stress from the heat or intense sun. Try to isolate each of these possibilities one at a time to determine the problem. Good luck! |
