I have noticed that my roses turn brown on the petals when they bloom. How do I prevent this and what causes it?

Rosemary,

Rose blooms often turn blighted after opening. This is usually due to fungal problems. Frequent rain or irrigation getting the plants wet will increase such problems. Fungicidal sprays applied right after rainfall will help deter it. Try also not to wet the foliage and blooms when you water the plants.
