| Hi, I just planted 3 new plants in my front yard and I want to make sure I know the signs for if they aren't thriving. I planted Liriope muscari, Ligustrum sinensis 'variegatum' and Loropetalum chinense 'Plum Delight'. I know from experience that plants can go into 'shock' when they are replanted, and I am looking for basic signs that these particular plants are healthy. Thanks, Robin Stewart |
| Robin, Transplant shock shows up primarily as wilting if the leaves followed by yellowing and drop or browning of the leaf tips and margins. About all you can do is try to keep the soil moist but not soggy as overwatering can be deadly to the plants. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
