Zantedeschia aethiopica 'Pink Mist' would be grown as an annual or as a container plant in your area (USDA zone 5) because it would not be winter hardy in the garden for you. It needs a rich, evenly moist to wet soil while it is in active growth. It blooms best during cooler weather and may rest in the heat of summer. It will also "rest' when the soil dries out. The flowers make good cut flowers. Enjoy!
