I have a friend who wants to plant Russian Sage (Perovskia Atriplicifolia) in Puerto Rico where it is humid and hot most of the time. Is that possible? If so, what special care is needed?

Perovskia is a perennial that grows in full sun and needs very little water, once established. It's a woody plant that grows to about 3 feet tall and has gray green leaves and lavender blue flowers. It likes summer heat and winter chill. It goes dormant where winters are cold. Give the plant a try - it will probably perform well for you.
