Question: I HAVE IVY CRAWLING THROUGH MY CAPE HO;NEYSUCKLES, AND INTO MY GARDEN. IT WAS PLANTED BY THE LAST OWNER. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT POISON CAN HANDLE THIS, SINCE PUTTING A GROUND BARRIER IS WORTHLESS. iT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THEM OUT BY THE ROOT WITH OUT ALSO UPROOTING THE CAPE HONEYSUCKLE THAT IS A BARRIER BETWEEN US AND THE NEIGHBORS.
Answer: There are no chemicals available that will kill the ivy without killing the honeysuckle, too. Pulling it out, digging it out, or chopping it down are the only alternatives. Wish I had better news for you!
