When and how should I fertilize Azaleas,Rhododendrums,Blue berry bushes, and hydrangeas (including oakleaf). Thanks, Roy Greene |
Roy, You can fertilize them lightly in spring and again in early summer. Use a product for acid loving plants such as azalea/camellia food or Miracid. Follow label instructions. It is usually better to go light on the fertilizer applications with those plants if you are using a dry fertilizer product. You can split an application into two applications about 4 weeks apart. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
