When and how should I fertilize Azaleas,Rhododendrums,Blue berry bushes,and hydrangeas (including oakleaf).Thanks, Roy Greene

Roy,

You can fertilize them lightly in spring and again in early summer. Use a product for acid loving plants such as azalea/camellia food or Miracid. Follow label instructions. It is usually better to go light on the fertilizer applications with those plants if you are using a dry fertilizer product. You can split an application into two applications about 4 weeks apart.
