I was wondering could I mix different species of grass, such as st Augustine and bahia mixture in seed form, to accomplish a more lushful appearence.

I appreciate all answers.

Annette,

I don't recommend mixing species as the end result is not very attractive. Growth rates, mowing needs, watering needs etc. are all different. I suggest you choose the species that best suits your needs and go with that for the entire lawn. The following web site provides info on choosing a turf grass in Georgia:
