| When and how to prune roses. It is July in Texas and mine are getting long and lankey. I have always been able to prune around Valentines day and all was well. They are unslightly at this time. This area has had a lot of rain. Thanks, Kelly |
| Kelly, I would wait and do a shearing back by about 1/3 in mid to late August then fertilize and water it in. This will promote regrowth and a great fall bloom show. Then do most of your pruning in February. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
