| Jasmines grow more rapidly in good soil and bloom more profusely in sunny sites, but will adapt to less than perfect conditions. Water your jasmine regularly and cut back any unruly shoots. As the weather begins to cool and nights are about 55F, your jasmine should be taken indoors. Make the move gradually so as not to shock your plant. Begin taking it in at night before you turn on your heater for the season. Leave it indoors for longer and longer periods until it is spending 24 hours indoors. Reverse the process in the spring to help acclimate it to growing outdoors again. Enjoy your jasmine! |
