Patricia,

You need to keep the soil moist and continue to feed them monthly. Give them plenty of sunlight, the more the better. Watch for leaf diseases and be prepared to spray with a fungicide. The staff at your Home Depot garden center can help you find a product for controlling black spot and powdery mildew fungus on roses. The roses will need to be moved to a larger pot as they grow so you might think about doing this during the upcoming fall months when the weather cools off a little.
