The Q&A Archives: care of spiderworts after blooming

Question: After spiderworts bloom, when can I transplant them and can I cut them back after blooming?

Answer: Martha,

You can cut them back and you can also transplant them now if you just get plenty of soil when you move the plant to avoid disturbing the roots too much and if you provide a good watering in right away.
