Knock Out is an extremely low maintenance rose. Deadheading is not required, but you may do so if you wish. If you remove the faded flower, cut just above the top leaf on the stem so the maximum foliage is left on the plant. Do not worry about cutting by a five-leaf. Enjoy your roses!
