The Q&A Archives: planting perennials

Question: Can all perennials be planted in the fall?

Answer: Off the top of my head, I can't think of any that could not be planted in the fall. Sometimes it is difficult to find certain perennials for sale in the fall, the selection tends to be wider in the spring. In general, early September is a great time to plant.
