Can you plant a privacy hedge in the middle of the summer(july/august)

It's possible to plant in mid-summer but it will be stressful to the shrubs so expect to see some wilting and dying foliage as the plants try to adjust to their new surroundings. Just prepare the site prior to planting and water each shrub well immediately after placing it in the ground. Be sure to water deeply once or twice a week to keep the plants hydrated and to encourage root growth.
