I purchased a gardenia plant and had it potted and fertilized at your Marathon store. A day later, the leaves are yellowing and buds are falling off (they are not browning). My gardenia is on my porch that has a roof and is screened in. Which area should I place the pot (South, North, West)? And is there any other advice you can give me.

Elishea,

The gardenia seems to be suffering from some transplant shock. Keep the soil moist but not soggy. Place it on the east side where it can get morning sun but afternoon shade, but still brightness if not direct light. In a few weeks start feeding it with Miracle Grow or a similar product following label instructions.
