The Q&A Archives: When can I plant peas?

Question: I live in Downingtown, PA. When can I plant peas? The package says "early spring," which is not very specific.

Answer: Your last frost date is around March 30, so you can plant peas by mid-March. Peas don't mind cool soil or air temperatures so they can go into the garden a lot early than most other plants.
