I bought a lisianthus at home depot and planted it in a pot and now it looks like its dying. How much water does it need? It's on the patio with all the other plants in pots and gets full sun all day until around 2:00 or 3:00. What else does it need? It's small, about 3

Lisianthus will grow in full sun and appreciates moist, well-draining soils. It isn't unusual for plants to become stressed when first transplanted so I suspect that's what's happening to your plant. Water to keep the soil evenly moist, which translates to allowing the top half-inch of soil to dry out before watering thoroughly. Plants in pots can dry out quickly in hot weather so be sure to check your pots at least twice a day and water as often as necessary to keep them from drying out. Give your lisianthus a little more time to adjust and it should grow and look healthy in a few weeks.

Best wishes with your container garden!
