If I plant sunflower seeds now will they bloom in Oct.? If I cut the leaves that have blythe on them will my tomatoes survive? Any tips will be helpful |
Sunflowers take from 50 to 80 days to mature so if you plant a dwarf variety, they will be ready in October. The required days to harvest are listed on the back of the seed package; choose the one with the shortest days to harvest and they should be flowering in October. Removing affected leaves on your tomato plants will help keep the fungal spores from traveling to the healthy leaves. Good luck with your garden! |
