I have just recently bought a home in SW Florida. It has two lemon trees on the side yard. They both have alot of dead branches on them. One is producing lemons, still green, the other is not. Both have leaves that are looking milky and white. The leaves are also drying up. Can you tell me what disease this is and how to cure my trees?

Talmage,

Your tree might be suffering from scale infestations but it is difficult to diagnose without seeing it. I suggest you take a sample to your County Extension Office and see if they can identify the problem and if necessary prescribe an appropriate remedy.
