Bryan,

You need to water a couple of times a week in hot, dry conditions. I suggest mowing it at about 1 1/2 inches at a frequency of at least every 5 days. You many need to adjust this a little depending on growth response of the grass. Use a fertilizer with a 3-1-2 ratio of nutrients. Take the first number on the bag and divide it into 100 to get the pounds of that product per 1000 square feet of lawn area. Fertilize ever 8 weeks from March to October.
