Layed St. Augustine sod in front yard, sun/partial shade, in late April this year. Had lots of rain for the first few days, watered every day for 2 weeks as recommended, miricle grow thru feeder/sprinkler weekly. Lawn was looking great. Silverdollar weed started to invade, hubby decided to treat with Sta Green Southern Weed & Feed, 27 3 8. The next day the lwarn was terribly burned. It looks as though the speasder was not set correctly and the product came out in massive amounts, as you can see where he went with it. (Did it at night) Is there any saving this lawn? We've been watering it daily unless it rains. Some green peeking tru.

All you can do at this time is to wait and provide proper care. Don't overwater as this bring additional problems. Just provide enough water to keep it healthy. I suspect the damage was not severe enough to kill the lawn and although it may take time it should recover. Avoid all weed control products when temperatures are above the low to mid 80's.
