I have a carambola which is over 2 years old and not producing, growing green and strong, but not fruit. Is there fertilizer I should be using, what and how often?

Keith,

It sometimes takes fruit trees quite a bit longer to start bearing. Provide good care and only moderate fertilizing by applying a cup of turf fertilizer per inch of trunk diameter in late spring and if vigor is lacking again in mid summer. Water as needed to maintain good health.
