WHEN SHOULD I FERTLIZE MAY LAWN THAT IS 7 MONTHS OLD. THE PEOPLE WHO LAID THE SOD SAID NOT TO FERTLIZE THE FIRST SEASON. IS THAT CORRECT? THE GRASS IS NOT VERY THICK & THERE ARE BARE SPOTS..

It is okay to fertilize now that it has had a couple of months to establish some roots. You can fertilize now or wait until late September.
