The Q&A Archives: bird of paridise

Question: is there special care you need to give to bird of paridise. we bought 2 about 3 months ago. they had flowers on them, then the flowers died. never to bloom again

Answer: Your bird of paradise will bloom again if it is happy in the spot you've planted it. They normally begin blooming in late winter or early spring and will produce a succession of blooms until fall. Give your plant a little more time to adjust to its new growing environment and I'm sure it will bloom again for you.
