How do I treat grass that is damaged due to animal urination burn?

Excess salts are causing the grass to die. There's nothing you can do to prevent it, except perhaps to hose the area down immediately to dilute the salts. As for the damaged areas, rake out the dead grass and reseed. Grass seeds usually germinate in 7-10 days so you can green up your lawn in a few short weeks.
