Geraniums like full sun so I am not certain why it would have sunburned unless it had been indoors as a houseplant and was abruptly moved outside. The best you can do is move it to a spot with morning-only sun and encourage it to regrow by watering as needed to keep the soil evenly moist (not sopping wet) and fertilizing regularly with a slow release or water soluble fertilizer such as 10-10-10 plus minors. A top dressing of compost might also help. Pinching out the growth tips will encourage it to branch and regrow denser than before. Or, you could cut it back by about half and try to encourage new growth that way. But there is really not much you can do except be patient and wait for it to regrow. I'm sorry about your geranium.
