I'm searchng for a good climbing plant to plant against a chain link fence. I have tried Ivy, but it doesn't seem to grow. I'd like to try Jasmine. Do you have any suggestions?

Unfortunately Jasmine would not be a good choice because it is not winter hardy in your area. You might consider the many different kinds of clematis, or possibly a native honeysuckle such as Lonicera sempervirens, or annual vines such as morning glories.
