I have a Purple Passion plant that my brother gave me that was planted in a plastic marg. bowl, I transplanted it into a bigger hanging pot and it doesn't look like it is doing very good. It was a house plant that my sister had and gave it to my brother before she passed away that belonged to my Grandma [that has been deceased for several years]. I don't have a window that i can hang it in that gets very much light cause I either keep the shades pulled in the rooms that I don't use or else the rest of them are shaded all the time. I don't know any other name for the plant cause that is what we always called it. I just need some suggestions on what it needs to help it look better. Thanks Dixie

This plant needs bright but indirect sun, so it probably needs more light than it is receiving now. It also should be allowed to dry slightly between waterings, so take care not to overwater it. If there is a drainage saucer under the pot, be sure to empty it after watering. Also, if you have a friend who does well with houseplants and has a window with better light, perhaps they would "babysit" this one for you. I hope this helps.
