Datura seeds (Brugmansia) take 21-42 days to sprout at 55F to 65F degrees. Sow the seeds on moistened seed starting mix and press them into the soil with your hand. Don't cover with additional soil. Put clear plastic wrap over the tray and place in awarm spot (top of the refrigerator works well). The seeds will take 3-6 weeks to germinate. Once they've sprouted, remove the plastic wrap and put the seeds under a source of bright light.
