There's only a few days left in July and I've just gotten back into gardening again. I remember really enjoying gladiolas. Is it too late to plant bulbs now? Would they bloom in Oct/Nov? We live in a coastal climate and the weather is nice year around.

The bloom season is just about over for glads and I'm not sure that you can purchase corms this late in the season. If you can find them, or if you order through the mail, you can plant them now and expect them to bloom for you next summer. I think you will find lots of other flowers in bloom at your local garden center if you'd like a burst of color in your garden now.

Best wishes with your garden!
