The Q&A Archives: Why are the leaves turning yellow on my Mandeville?

Question: I have my Alice Du Pont

Answer: You may be keeping it too wet. The soil should be evenly moist like a wrung out sponge, not sopping wet/saturated and not dried out. Make sure there are working drainage holes at the bottom of the container so any excess water can drain out.

You might also check for signs of insects such as whitefly (small white flying insects, rise up as you approach the plant). These can be treated with commercially formulated insecticidal soap, apply and reapply per the label directions. I hope this helps.
