| I am considering buying a couple of October Glory Maple trees for my backyard. I was told certain type of Maple trees will put out suckers all over your yard as it matures. Will this type of Maple tree do this? Thanks for the advice and have a great day. Pauline |
| You're right - some maple trees sucker more than others. This doesn't seem to be a problem with red maples such as October Glory. It is recommended as a lawn tree or street tree which indicates that it does not sucker. Best wishes with your new trees! |
