Answer: Shrubs and trees often go through some transplant stress when they are installed in mid-summer. In addition to adjusting to their new homes, they are dealing with hot sunshine and hot air temperatures. As long as you keep your new plants watered, they should adjust. A deep soaking once or twice a week is better than frequent shallow waterings so be sure to water deeply but infrequently to help your shrubs adjust. Hope you see some improvement soon!
