Chamaedorea cataractarum is commonly called Cat or Cascade Palm. The natural habitat of this attractive and compact palm is Southeastern Mexico where it grows in wet forests or near fast flowing streams. This palm should be kept moist at all times. The mature size is usually about 6 feet and the growth rate is slow. Provide bright light (no direct sunshine).

Enjoy your new palm.
