thank you for answering my question. now that you told me the problem I want to know when I use the organic soil since I just planted it do I have to dig it up again and replant i't with the organic soil or just place the organic soil around the shrub along with the mulch. thank you please write back.

I don't think it's necessary to dig up the plant. I would simply place some organic mulch over the top of the soil (but not too close to the trunk or main stem). As the organic matter breaks down, it will work its way into the soil. Add organic matter to the top of the soil every year and it will help slow water evaporation, suppress weeds and moderate soil temperatures.
