| The problem with using chemical herbicides near tree roots is that they can affect the tree, as well. Since your tree's health already seems to be compromised, I'd recommend hand pulling the weeds, roots and all. This way you won't have to worry about herbicides translocating in the soil and possibly damaging the roots of your tree. Best wishes with your tree! |
