| Lucinda, Very strange. Something is wrong in the roots most likely. I can't know what is happening with just the symptoms of that it is turning brown. I suggest you take a photo of the entire palm tree and some closeups of the browning fronds. Then take them to your local County Extension Office to see if the horticulture agent can identify the cause or suggest some things you can do to alleviate the problem. Thanks for the question.
