The Q&A Archives: Are climbing roses available at your stores now?

Question: I would like to plant them in my yard in time to sell my home next year, located La Canada Flintridge, CA. Is this advisable and can you tell me what type of climbing roses are available and where I can purchase them in the Glendale/Pasadena/Burbank area? Thanks very much.

Answer: Here at the Q & A forum we can help you solve garden problems but we have no way of knowing the inventory carried in your local garden centers. A phone call to each will provide the information on current stock of climbing roses. They should be available all summer long with the largest selection found bare-root in February or growing in containers beginning in March.

Best wishes with your new roses.
