The Q&A Archives: lawns

Question: I have planted scotts premium seeds on my lawn w/scotts lawn soil approx. 2 months ago and continue to water when needed.the grass still has not grown.I continue to have bald spots on my lawn.please help.

Answer: It may be time to fertilize to promote additional growth and to reseed those bare areas. Scratch the top of the soil in the bare spots and broadcast more seeds. Keep the seedbeds moist at all times; the grass should germinate in 7-10 days when kept moist.

Best wishes with your lawn.
