Answer: You can grow cyclamen in your climate, but the blooms are smaller than you see on the more tender species grown as houseplants. Plant them in light shade in a rich, well-drained, fertile soil. Plant tubers 6" apart and barely cover them, then top with mulch. Water them regularly after shoots appear.
