As a new gardener, what are the best fall flowers to start now? I like growing from seeds, but I am not sure which ones that will do best and grow fastest. Or should I just try plants?

Melissa,

You can start alyssum, snapdragons, stock, dusty miller, sweet peas (for spring bloom), and violas now. If you are new to gardening I would suggest planting some sweet peas along a fence and perhaps starting some snapdragons. The purchase transplants of other flowers as some have very tiny seeds and are not so easy to grow.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
