The Q&A Archives: tomato plants

Question: The bottom leaves are turning brown on my tomato plants. Is it lack of water or heat?

Answer: It's normal for the oldest leaves, those lowest down on the plant, turn brown in mid-season. Your plants are busy developing healthy new leaves at the top of the plant and won't miss the lower ones.

Hope you have a great harvest!
