SOME OF THE LEAVES ON MY POINSETTAS ARE CURLING UP. WHAT IS THE CAUSE AND THE SOLUTION? THIS IS A PLANT THAT I HAVE HAD FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND GROWS UP TO SIX FT. HIGH AND HAS RED FLOWERS EVERY YEAR IN THE WINTER. I DO CUT IT BACK EVERY YEAR AFTER THE FREEZE IS PAST.

Curling leaves is usually a sign of dry root conditions. It can also be due to damage from a broadleaf weed killer or weed and feed used nearby. Try watering the plants if you feel the soil could be dry and give them some time to recover. You can cut them back in late winter.
