I need a flower that can grow in sun and heat. the last house we lived in had (what the owner called canna's) Where do you find them will they grow in az?

You can grow cannas in Arizona. You'll find them in the spring in garden centers, planted in one gallon containers. They thrive in full sun and desert heat as long as they are planted in rich, moist soils. Amend the planting bed with plenty of organic matter prior to planting and they should thrive.
