Question: what causes yellow grass

Answer: Yellowing can be caused by many different factors ranging from chemical spill to overfertilizing to disease to insects to mowing too short and scalping the lawn, to dog urine. If you put your lawn on a regular feeding and watering schedule, it should green up for you. Hope so!
